24th Aberdeen Girl’s Brigade

The 24th Aberdeen Girl's Brigade company meets at Torry St Fittick’s Church every Tuesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. All are welcome.

Girls’ Brigade members come from diverse backgrounds and from all faiths and none. All are welcome. We embrace each girl being unique and give them the opportunity to learn, make friends, try new challenges and grow into strong, confident, young women through their Girls’ Brigade experience.

Being an explorer in Girls’ Brigade is all about having fun, making new friends and exploring new concepts, ideas and activities. Girls can join from the age of 5, or from the date they start primary school if this is before their 5th birthday, and they will remain in this section until the end of Primary 3.

Our Juniors section welcomes all girls in P4 - P7 who are looking to have lots of fun with friends, old and new, while learning new skills, taking part in exciting activities, tackling new challenges and developing as young confident individuals.

The Brigaders section is open to all girls from the time they begin secondary education through to their 18th birthday, regardless of whether or not they choose to remain in the education system until this point. We recognise that this can be an exciting but challenging time in the lives of young women.
